Babyland General Hospital

If you have a child or if you are a child of the 80′s and your travels take you near Cleveland, GA, you need to stop at the Babyland General Hospital.  “What can you find at the Babyland General Hospital.”, you ask?  Why, it is the where Cabbage Patch Kids are ‘born’, of course!

The 70,000 square foot building is designed to look like a real hospital, from the ‘nursery’ filled with ‘Preemies’ to the ‘Recovery Room’ where the ‘Newborns’ are measured and weighed.  There is even a fathers’ waiting room and the employees all wander around dressed as doctors and nurses.  If you have a Cabbage Patch Kid who has seen its better days, you can also bring it here and drop it off at ‘Bath Camp’ or send it in for ‘Surgery’ to be
repaired.

Babyland General Hospital is the only place in the world where you can witness the birth of a hand-sculpted Cabbage Patch Kid.  Starting at $199 and going up from there, the dolls made at Babyland are not the vinyl ones you find in stores and they are considered to be quite valuable to Cabbage Patch Kid collectors.

You can find the Babyland General hospital at 300 N.O.K. Drive in Cleveland, GA.
