Trail Ready Oatmeal

OatmealThis hearty breakfast can be prepared ahead of time and is easy to take with you, no matter if you are a backcountry camper or if you prefer to camp in an RV.   It's the perfect way to start your day!

Ingredients:
1/2 C Oatmeal (Quick Oats)
1/4 C Carnation low fat powdered milk
1 T Brown sugar
1/3 C Raisins
1/3 C Mixed nuts such as sliced almonds and chopped walnuts

Instructions:
Mix all of the ingredients and store in a Ziploc bag.

When you are ready for breakfast, empty the contents into a bowl, add 2 cups of boiling water and let it sit for a couple of minutes until the oatmeal is ready.
