Dutch Oven Roast with Vegetables

You will eat like a king on your next camping trip when you make this dutch oven roast.  If you prefer, it can also be prepared in a crock pot or your RV oven.

3 to 4 lb Chuck Roast
2 Potatoes
2 Ears of Corn
Your favorite spices to season

Season the chuck roast and wrap in heavy duty aluminum foil

Place the roast on a trivet in a large dutch oven

Cover and cook on a medium fire for 45 minutes

Wrap the corn and potatoes separately in heavy duty aluminum foil and add to the dutch oven

Simmer over a very low flame for 3 hours.
